Ruination

Ruination is an FPS with a focus on movement and survival.

​

My team and I made sure of this by:
-Making Movement and shooting feel smooth and not too hard.

-Navigating levels were easy

- Defeating waves of enemies was fun.

​

The features I worked on include:
Clicking a certain mechanic will bring you to the design breakdown page to that certain mechanic.


-Audio for when weapons are switched.

-Sound for when the player is walking

- The freeze grenade, that freezes an enemy in place for some time.

-Level 1 Level design.
- Objective System that rewards the player.

- Audio for when player walks over acid.

- Cross Hair turning red and green over enemies and interactable objects respectively.

- Tutorial pop-up and sound.

- Interactive Design for Levers and doors.

- Created a system where the player starts with only pistol ammo at the beginning of the game so that the player can have a sense of progression early
